This day in David’s city a Savior has been born to you,
the Messiah and Lord.
This day Christ is Born:
today the Savior has appeared.
This day the angels are singing on earth;
archangels are rejoicing.
Today the just are glad and say,
“Glory to God in high heaven.”
The word became flesh,
And dwelt among us.
O come, let us adore Him!
