Sincere prayer

Prayer means being open with God.

Try to be consistent in your prayer life and ultimately He will respond.  We will gradually understand one day that suddenly we are in contact with God.  This need not be a felt presence of God, though it could take this form.  It will most often be a new direction to your life.  We shall become surer of ourselves, of what is right and wrong.  Our character will become more unified.  We shall be, and appear also to others to be, people with a purpose, sincere, reliable, knowing our way . . .  The more sincere we are in our prayer, the more effective will it become and the more time we shall want to devote to it.
