The main requisite for spiritual life is a profound equilibrium of life. The prayer of the apostle is primarily Presence of God. Without this one cannot speak of a spiritual life. This type prayer should permeate one’s whole life.
Above all, remember that contemplation and the action of the apostle is a gift of God, enabling the human instrument thereby to communicate the Divine life to others.
