Through the generous and evangelizing spirit of Living Bread Radio, the Sisters have been invited to teach children from six to ten years of age at the St. Raphael Center, ran by Living Bread Radio. The event, which is open and free, focuses on a different topic of our Catholic faith at each monthly class. […]
It has long been a wish of ours to find new chairs for our residents’ dining room, and we were fortunate to find some close to home. These chairs are Amish-made and very sturdy — and very comfortable! The cost per chair is $350. We have used 50th Anniversary gifts and donations given in loving […]
Summer has been busy with many new additions. The windows have come to the Dining Room and Seton Hall, and the addition of sunscreening shades lets in light without glare. It is a beautiful and practical renovation completed in time for our 50th Anniversary celebration July 27.
We were blessed with many monetary gifts for Christmas, some of which paid for the security camera system. With the remainder, we hope to replace the large windows in the dining room and Seton Hall to better insulate those two rooms from our area’s extreme weather. All of these are possibly only because of benefactors […]
May is Mary’s month. Please beg Our Lady to watch over our Religious Community and this Home dedicated to her. Pray often for us: Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for […]
So many new things have been added to our House of Loreto. The bathtubs and renovated shower areas provide great satisfaction to both residents and caregivers. With the help of donations from the family of Mrs. Anna Newton and Mrs. Jean Spring, we were able to give Seton Hall a much-needed face lift. We hope you are as pleased as we are with the results.
Thanks to donations from families of our residents and friends of our Community, we have replaced the bathtubs in Marian and Lourdes Halls with American Standard step-in tubs complete with hydrotherapy jets. We have installed two BHM track lifts to lift residents who are unable to walk into the tubs. This is phase one. As […]
